San Juan is a state of 300,000 people with a state capital of the same name.  The city is surrounded by mountains and is in the floodplain of numerous rivers.  It is a unique and very beautiful place housing even more beautiful people.

	This is the incredible view which greeted us every morning as we looked out the back porch.  Many of us would wake up early or stay up late and spend time with God with this view in sight.
	This courtyard was directly below our porch.  Every morning neighborhood children would come out and perform their chores.  They would always smile and wave when they saw us.
	This gate lies in the center of town.
	Most of the Dominican Republic is Catholic.  This chapel is part of the biggest Catholic Church in San Juan, a town named after John the Baptist.
